your information.

This policy explains what we do with personal data you give us through this website, and with personal data contained in footage you send us as a customer.

Who we are

Redact-AV is a service of ClearPath Partnership Limited, registered in England & Wales, company no. 12716017, registered office 4-6 Church Road, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 9AE. For the purposes of UK data protection law, ClearPath Partnership Limited is the data controller for enquiries made through this website.

Enquiries made through this website

When you submit the enquiry form we collect the name, email address, organisation (if given) and message you provide. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to discuss the service with you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to someone who has contacted us about our service.

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, which hosts this website and operates its form handling. We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months from our last contact with you, then delete it.

We do not sell your details, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list from a form submission.

Footage submitted to the service

Where you engage us to redact footage, that footage frequently contains personal data — faces, licence plates, and people who are identifiable from context. In that relationship you are the data controller and we act as your data processor, under a written agreement that sets out our obligations.

Footage submitted to the service is stored and processed on infrastructure located in the United Kingdom. Access is limited to the vetted personnel who are working on your project. We retain source footage and redacted output only for the period agreed with you, and delete both at the end of that period or on your instruction.

The specific arrangements — retention period, transfer method, access controls and deletion confirmation — are agreed per engagement before any footage is transferred. Ask us for these before you send anything.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Netlify keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to data portability. Where we rely on legitimate interests you may object to that processing at any time.

If you are the subject of footage we have processed on behalf of a customer, your request is normally a matter for that customer as the data controller. Contact us and we will direct you appropriately.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
